2. If you have been listening for the past several weeks, you will know that this is the last in our series of messages on the “I Am” sayings,

4. And during this series of messages,

5. We have been looking at the seven I Am claims of Jesus,

6. And today as we come to this last one.

7. We will come to the understanding of the vital importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

8. Jesus said:

9. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

10. Well if you have your Bible, you can turn to John chapter 11.

11. Today Jesus says,
今天耶稣说,

12. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

13. Today Jesus says:
今天耶稣说:

14. I and I alone,
我,唯有我,

15. Have the keys to what is inaccessible to all others.
掌管这把任何人也没有的钥匙。

16. Jesus says,
耶稣说,

17. I have the power to your future eternity.
你的永生掌握在我手中。

18. For resurrection is my name,
因为复活是我的名字,

19. Resurrection is who I am,
复活在我,

20. Resurrection is what I give you.
复活是我赐给你的。

21. He who believes in me shall never die.
凡信我的,必永远不死。

22. And even when your body dies,
即便你身体会死,

23. And goes down to the grave,
埋进坟墓,

24. But your soul gets immediately resurrected in his presence.
但你的灵魂却立时复活在祂的面前。

25. On that first Easter day when Jesus got up out of the grave,
当耶稣从坟墓里出来,也就是第一个复活节,

26. He got up and stayed up,
祂活过来,并一直活着,

27. Never to die again.
永不再死。

28. Just as his death on the cross was an event of history,
就如同祂在十架上的死是一个历史事实,

29. So was getting up out of his death was an event of history.
祂从死里复活也是一个历史事实。

30. Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
耶稣确实是复活和生命。

31. Well some of you may be asking this,
也许你们有些人会问,

32. So what if there was a resurrection?
真有复活又怎样?

33. How relevant is it that Jesus Christ who rose from the dead 2000 years ago is it to me?
一个在两千多年前复活的耶稣,和我有甚么关系?

34. How can this remote event impact my life today?
这个遥远的事实对我的生命有何影响呢?

35. Well my friend, I want you to listen very carefully,
亲爱的朋友,请仔细听我说,

36. Because I want to answer these questions.
因为我要来回答这些问题。

37. Your whole future depends on how you respond to the answers of these questions,
你的整个未来,就取决于你如何响应这些问题的答案,

38. And I beg you not to close your mind.
我请求你不要封闭你的心。

39. First
第一,

40. Only because of the resurrection can you and I know that we are forgiven.
只有通过复活,你我才会知道自己已被赦免。

41. It doesn’t matter how morally upright you may be,
不管你的品德有多么高尚,

42. Deep down in your heart you know you need God’s forgiveness.
在你的内心深处,你知道你需要上帝的赦免。

43. We all need to know that we are forgiven,
我们都需要知道我们是否被赦免了,

44. That is one of the most basic needs there is.
这是我们最基本的需要之一。

45. In fact I want to tell you about a conversation I had one time with a friend of mine,
有一次我和我的一位朋友交谈,

46. He was the head of a large mental institution in Europe.
他是欧洲一间很有规模的精神病院的负责人。

47. He said that I would dismiss half of my patients tomorrow if they could be assured of forgiveness.
他说,如果能确定自己得到赦免的话,院中一半的病人就可以回家了。

48. Whatever skeleton there is in your closet,
在你内心里,不论有什么可怕丑陋的东西,

49. And we all have them.
其实我们人人心中都有。

50. Whatever dark secrets you are keeping in your memory,
无论你的记忆里有多少不能见天日的秘密,

51. Whatever painful memories you are storing up,
无论这些记忆有多么痛苦,

52. Whatever past there is that is nagging you and shaming you and condemning you,
无论你的过去如何令你感到耻辱羞愧,不断纠缠着你,

53. Whatever memory that is tormenting you,
无论这记忆怎样折磨着你,

54. The resurrection of Jesus Christ can forgive you tonight.
耶稣基督的复活都可以宽恕你。

55. If he remained dead,
如果祂没有复活,

56. If he did not physically and publicly rose from the dead,
如果祂没有从死里真正活过来,

57. He wouldn’t have been able to assure you of his forgiveness.
祂就不能向你保证祂的宽恕。

58. If he had not literally gotten out of the grave,
如果祂没有真正从坟墓里出来,

59. Then his death would have been a failure and mere tragedy.
那么祂的死亡只不过是一个纯粹的失败和悲剧。

60. Paul saw this very clearly when he said,
保罗对这一点看得很清楚,

61. In I Corinthians 15:14:
哥林多前书15章14节那里说:

62. If Christ has not been raised,
如果基督没有复活,

63. Our preaching is in vain,
我们所传的便是枉然,

64. So is your faith.
你们所信的也是枉然。

65. If there were no literal and physical resurrection,
如果没有身体的真实复活,

66. Then the apostles were false witnesses,
那么,使徒们就是在作假见证;

67. And all the Christian believers are unforgiven,
所有的基督徒也没有得到赦免;

68. And those Christians who died have perished.
已死的信徒也都灭亡了。

69. But because Jesus rose victoriously from the dead,
然而,因着耶稣基督荣耀的复活,

70. God assures us that by his death on the cross, your sins and mine can be forgiven.
神使我们确信,因着祂在十字架上的死,你我的罪都可以得到赦免。

71. So this is the first point.
这是第一点。

72. That the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
耶稣基督的复活,

73. Assures us of the forgiveness of our sins.
给了我们罪得赦免的确据。

74. And then the second issue is this,
第二件事,

75. The resurrection of Christ ,
基督的复活,

76. Assures us of God’s power.
让我们看见神的大能。

SECTION B
乙部

1. God’s power to illuminate and enlighten our hearts,
神的大能照亮我们的内心;

2. God’s power to open our eyes and receive the truth,
神的大能打开我们的眼睛,使我们可以接受真理;

3. God’s power to raise our dead spirit,
神的大能使我们已死的灵复活;

4. Power to change us from selfish to unselfish,
神的大能使我们的自私变为无私;

5. Power to change us from immoral to self-control,
神的大能使我们的不道德变为自我管理;

6. From being sour people to being sweet people,
神的大能使我们的苦毒变为甜蜜;

7. Power to change us from being dead to spiritual reality to being alive in Christ.
神的大能使我们已死的灵得以在基督里复活。

8. It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not legislation can change peoples hearts,
只有基督的复活可以改变人心,而不是律法主义;

9. The resurrection of Jesus Christ and not mere laws on the books that can turn hatred into love,
只有基督的复活可以使仇恨变为爱心,而不是靠法律条文;

10. It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ not political power can make a sinner repent,
只有耶稣基督的复活可以使一个罪人悔改,而不是靠政治力量;

11. It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ that can change your life and turn it upside down right now,
只有耶稣基督的复活可以彻底完全地改变你的生命;

12. It is the same power that raised Jesus from the physical death,
那使耶稣从死里复活的大能,

13. That it can raise you from spiritual death tonight.
今天也可以让你的灵魂从死里复活。

14. Then there is a third thing I want to tell you about the resurrection,
我还想和你谈谈关于复活的第三点,

15. The resurrection of Jesus Christ assures us of our ultimate triumph.
耶稣基督的复活给了我们最终得胜的确据。

16. All the religions of the world,
世界上所有的宗教,

17. All the ideologies of the world,
世界上所有的梦幻,

18. Will either sink you into the depth of despair,
不是让你沉伦于失望的深渊,

19. Or get you into endless reincarnations.
就是带你进入无止境的轮回之中。

20. They either sell you a dream of future happiness,
他们要么就推销一种未来极乐世界的美梦,

21. In some romantic future existence,
对未来的浪漫不切实际的假想,

22. Or a dream of genetic manipulation.
要么就是给你一个基因复制的梦想。

23. They will either sink you into existentialist hopelessness,
将你陷入存在主义者的绝望之中,

24. Or evolutionary nightmare.
或是进化论者的恶梦。

25. The only comfort and hopeful assurance of the future,
而那对未来唯一的安慰和盼望,

26. Is offered to us in the power of the resurrection of Jesus.
唯有耶稣的复活大能可以带给你我。

27. Only the resurrected Christ could say:
只有复活的基督可以说:

28. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

29. And he assures us that we will not only survive death, but we are raised from it.
祂向我们应许说,我们不但不死,而且要复活。

30. We are to be given bodies like Jesus resurrected body,
我们会拥有像耶稣那样复活的身体,

31. We are to have power with God and reign with God.
我们有神的能力,要和祂一同作王。

32. Jesus was the first to rise from the dead,
耶稣是第一个从死里复活的人,

33. And all of us will follow him.
我们所有人都要像祂一样。

34. Why is it that a man that rose from the dead nearly 2000 years ago can be my only hope today?
为甚么这个在两千年前从死里复活的人,会是我们今天唯一的盼望呢?

35. Listen very carefully please.
请仔细听我说。

36. Jesus was not just a good man,
耶稣不仅仅是一个好人,

37. He wasn’t just a good teacher,
祂不仅仅是一个好教师,

38. He has existed with the father before the creation of the world,
在创造世界以先,祂就与父同在了,

39. He is God in human form.
祂是神道成肉身,成为人的样子。

40. He said these words:
祂说过:

41. Before Abraham was, I am.
还没有亚伯拉罕,就有了我。

42. For in Isaiah he is the prince of peace,
在以赛亚书中,祂被称为和平之君;

43. Mighty God,
全能的神;

44. Wonderful Counselor.
奇妙策士。

45. In Daniel,
在但以理书中,

46. He was the fourth person in the fiery furnace.
祂是在烈火窑中的第四个人。

47. In Malachi,
在玛拉基书中,

48. He is the sun of righteousness.
祂是公义的日光。

49. In Matthew,
在马太福音中,

50. He is Jesus,
祂是耶稣,

51. And the governor of governors.
是万主之主。

52. In Mark,

53. He is the holy one.
祂是圣者。

54. In Luke,
在路加福音中,

55. He is the dayspring,
祂是活泉,

56. And the horn of salvation.
是救恩的角。

57. In John’s gospel,
在约翰福音中,

58. He is the lamb of God,
祂是神的羔羊;

59. The word of God,
神的道;

60. The way, the truth, and the life,
是道路,真理,生命;

61. The Messiah,
是弥赛亚;

62. The light of the world,
是世界的光;

63. The bread of life,
是生命的粮;

64. The good shepherd,
是好牧人;

65. The door,
是羊的门;

66. The true vine,
是真葡萄树;

67. He is the resurrection and the life.
祂是复活,生命。

68. In the book of Acts,
在使徒行传里,

69. He is the prince of life,
祂是生命之主;

70. The Lord Jesus Christ,
是主耶稣基督;

71. The Lord of all.
是万主之主。

72. In Ephesians,
在以弗所书中,

73. He is the chief cornerstone the head of the church.
祂是教会的房角石,教会的头。

74. In Hebrews,
在希伯来书中,

75. He is the author and finisher of our salvation.
祂是我们救恩的创始成终者。

76. In Timothy,
在提摩太书中,

77. He is the righteous judge.
祂是公义的审判官。

78. In I Peter,
在彼得前书中,

79. He is the shepherd,
祂是牧羊人;

80. And the bishop of our souls,
是我们灵魂的监督;

81. And the chief cornerstone.
是房角的第一块石头。

82. In II Peter,
在彼得后书中,

83. He is the Savior.
祂是救主。

84. In John’s epistles,
在约翰的书信中,

85. He is the advocate.
祂是训导者。

86. In the book of Revelation,
在启示录中,

87. He is the Lord God almighty,
祂是全能之主;

88. The lion of the tribe of Judah,
是犹大的狮子;

89. The root of David,
是戴维的苗裔;

90. King of Kings,
是万王之王;

91. Morning star,
是晨星;

92. Alpha and the Omega.
是阿拉法,俄梅嘎。

93. And one day this same resurrected Jesus Christ is coming back,
有一天,这位复活的耶稣基督会再回来;

94. And he is going to come back with spectacular magnificence,
祂回来时会有惊天动地的奇异大事随着祂,

95. He is coming back to bring history to it’s fulfillment in eternity.
祂回来结束万物,带进永恒的结局。

96. He will not only raise the dead,
祂不仅要叫死人复活,

97. But he will make all things new.
祂还会叫一切更新。

98. There’s going to be a new heaven and a new earth,
有新天新地赐下来,

99. Which will be the home for those who follow Jesus.
成为跟随祂的人永远的家园。

SECTION C
丙部

1. Jesus’ resurrection is a pledge to all of those who surrender to him,
耶稣的复活,成了神对所有跟随祂之人的誓约,

2. Those who have come under the shadow of his wings,
那些来到祂翅膀荫下的人;

3. Those who have asked for his forgiveness and placed him at the center of their life,
那些祈求宽恕,并把耶稣放在他们生命中心的人;

4. His resurrection is God’s pledge to raise us up again.
祂的复活证明了神会让我们从死里复活的承诺。

5. And this is a very appropriate time for us to come to an end here,
节目很快要结束了,

6. This is very exciting.
但我却十分兴奋。

7. You and I may never meet on this side of heaven,
你我或许在地上没有相见的机会,

8. But one day we are going to meet in heaven,
但总有一天,我们会在天上相见,

9. If you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ,
只要你把生命交给耶稣基督,

10. If you have believed with all of your heart that his resurrection is the assurance of your resurrection.
只要你满心相信,祂的复活就是你复活的确据。
