2. If you have been listening for the past several weeks, you will know that this is the last in our series of messages on the “I Am” sayings,

3. This is the most important of all of the sayings.

4. Therefore, I want you to listen carefully and maybe have pencil and paper handy.

5. Because there are many people today who deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
现今有许多人否认耶稣基督从死里复活的事实;

6. There are some who assert that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead was not physical,
有些人坚持说,耶稣的复活不是身体的复活,

7. They say that it was just his personality that exploded out of the grave,
而是祂的精神不死,彷佛脱离了坟墓似的;

8. But this is nothing new,
这种说法不过是老调重弹,

9. Throughout Christian history people have said that.
从古到今,一直有人这么说。

10. There are many who have said that the resurrection was not an event but an experience,
也有人说,复活不是一件事实,而是一种心灵经历,

11. They say that it was a personal recovery of faith in the hearts and minds of Jesus’ followers.
是耶稣的门徒,在心灵上信心重建的经历。

12. If you search history,
如果你查考历史,

13. You will find that in every generation there are those who have refused to believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
你会发现,无论那一个年代,都有一些人不相信耶稣基督身体的复活。

14. This denial of the truth,
这种对事实的否定,

15. Was occurring even in the days of the apostle Paul.
甚至在使徒保罗那个年代也时有发生。

16. Yet those early Christians who joyfully faced their execution,
然而,早期信徒们喜乐地面对死刑,

17. They did not die for a hoax.
他们并不是为一个骗局而死。

18. Those early Christians who joyfully endured the teeth of hungry lions,

19. They did not die for an imagination.

20. Those early Christians who have died for the risen Christ,

21. They did not die for a deception.

22. Worshipping a dead Christ would be the greatest waste of time,

23. The biggest waste of money,

24. The biggest waste of energy.

25. And during this series of messages,

26. We have been looking at the seven I Am claims of Jesus,

27. And today as we come to this last one.

28. We will come to the understanding of the vital importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

29. Jesus said:

30. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

31. When did he say these words?
祂是什么时候说的呢?

32. Well if you have your Bible, you can turn to John chapter 11.
如果你手边有圣经的话,请翻开约翰福音11章。

33. Jesus said these words to Lazarus sister,
耶稣对拉撒路的姊姊说过这句话,

34. Just before he raised Lazarus from the dead.
就在祂叫拉撒路从死里复活之前。

35. After Lazarus body has been rotting in the grave for four days.
当时拉撒路的尸体已经在坟墓里四天之久,并开始腐烂了。

36. Jesus said to her:
耶稣对他姊姊说:

37. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

38. He who believes in me shall not perish,
信我的人不至灭亡,

39. But have everlasting life.
反得永生。

40. These I am sayings of Jesus,
这些耶稣的自我宣称,

41. Are as relevant today as they were during the time of his earthly life.
从祂在地上的日子到如今,仍然与你我息息相关。

42. Jesus said, I am the light of the world.
耶稣说,我是世界的光。

43. Look around and see how many people choose the darkness instead.
环顾四周,我们会看到,有许多人还是选择了黑暗。

44. Jesus said I am the good shepherd,

45. And my sheep know my voice.

46. But look around,

47. See how many people who refuse to hear his voice.

48. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life.
耶稣说,我就是道路,真理,生命。

49. But look at the vast numbers who have chosen to serve the father of lies instead.
但我们看见有许多人,却选择去服侍谎言之父。

50. Today Jesus says,
今天耶稣说,

51. I am the resurrection and the life.
复活在我,生命也在我。

52. Today Jesus says:
今天耶稣说:

53. I and I alone,
我,唯有我,

54. Have the keys to what is inaccessible to all others.
掌管这把任何人也没有的钥匙。

55. Jesus says,
耶稣说,

56. I have the power to your future eternity.
你的永生掌握在我手中。

57. For resurrection is my name,
因为复活是我的名字,

58. Resurrection is who I am,
复活在我,

59. Resurrection is what I give you.
复活是我赐给你的。

60. And that is why when he called out Lazarus saying, Lazarus come out!
这就是为什么,当祂呼唤拉撒路时,祂说:拉撒路,出来!

61. And Lazarus got up and walked out of the grave.
拉撒路立时起来,走出了坟墓。

62. Jesus calls you by name when you turn to him,

63. He will say this to you by name:

64. Come out!
出来!

65. And here and now experience the power of spiritual resurrection.
你立即就会体会到属灵的复活大能。

66. And when Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life.
当耶稣说:复活在我,生命也在我。

67. He also said:
祂还说:

68. He who believes in me shall never die.
凡信我的,必永远不死。

69. And even when your body dies,
即便你身体会死,

70. And goes down to the grave,
埋进坟墓,

71. But your soul gets immediately resurrected in his presence.
但你的灵魂却立时复活在祂的面前。

72. On that first Easter day when Jesus got up out of the grave,
当耶稣从坟墓里出来,也就是第一个复活节,

73. It was not his influence that emerged out of the tomb,
从坟墓中出来的,并不是祂的影响力;

74. It was not his memory that exploded in the minds of his disciples,
也不是门徒对祂的思念,从他们的脑海中爆发出来;

75. It was not the power of his ideology that passed to them.
也不是祂的思想传留下来所发出的能力。

76. When Jesus rose from the dead,
当耶稣从死里复活时,

77. It was not like Lazarus resurrection,
不像拉撒路的复活,

78. Because Lazarus died again.
因为拉撒路终究还是死了。

79. It was not like Jirusus’ daughter,
也不像睚鲁的女儿,

80. Because she died again.
因为后来她也死了。

81. It was not like raising the son of the widow of Nane,
也不像拿因城寡妇儿子的复活,

82. He died again.
因为他最后也死了。

83. When Jesus got up out of death,
当耶稣从死里复活时,

84. He got up and stayed up,
祂活过来,并一直活着,

85. Never to die again.
永不再死。

86. On that first Easter day,
在第一个复活节,

87. When Jesus got up out of the tomb,
当耶稣从坟墓里出来时,

88. After being dead for three days,
祂已经死了三天了,

89. It was a physical resurrection.
所以那是一个身体的复活。

90. On that first resurrection day,
在第一个复活节,

91. Just as his death on the cross was an event of history,
就如同祂在十架上的死是一个历史事实,

92. So was getting up out of his death was an event of history.
祂从死里复活也是一个历史事实。

93. In fact I want you to look very carefully with me,
请和我一起仔细的来看一看,

94. The Bible gives us four verbs,
圣经给了我们四个动词,

95. All are equal in value.
它们全都很重要。

96. It says that he died,
圣经说,祂死了,

97. This is the first verb.
“死”是第一个动词。

98. Then he was buried,

99. That’s the second verb.
“埋葬”是第二个动词。

1. He was raised,
祂复活了,

2. That’s the third verb.
“复活”是第三个动词。

3. He appeared,
祂显现了,

4. That is the fourth verb.
“显现”是第四个动词。

5. It was his body that died,
祂的身体死了,

6. It was his body that was buried,
也是祂的身体被埋葬了,

7. It was his body that was resurrected,
是祂的身体复活了,

8. It was his body that had appeared numerous times after the resurrection.
复活之后,也是祂的身体多次向门徒显现。

9. Now some of you who may be listening to us may be saying to yourselves,
现在正在听我们节目的朋友或许会问,

10. Suppose all of those hundreds of people who saw Jesus could believe in a literal, physical, datable resurrection and transformation,
当年那几百个见过耶稣的人,他们相信耶稣是身体复活,是真实可靠的;

11. But we who live in this sophisticated, contemporary world,
然而,我们生活在这个复杂的现代社会,

12. A world of astrophysics, and microbiology,
一个研究微生物学和天体物理学的世界,

13. A world of computer science,
一个属于计算器科学的世界,

14. How can we believe in this resurrection?
我们怎能相信这样的复活呢?

15. I’m going to answer that.
我要来回答这个问题。

16. The historical evidence is beyond dispute.
历史事实是不容质疑的。

17. The tomb was empty,
坟墓是空的;

18. The Romans with all of their power could not produce that body,
罗马人穷极所能也无法假造耶稣的尸体;

19. The Jewish leaders with all of their power of hatred and bitterness toward Jesus could not produce his body.
虽然犹太人的领袖对耶稣恨之入骨,也拿不出祂的尸体。

20. Just think with me for a moment,
让我们好好想想,

21. If his disciples stole his body as some asserted,
如果像有些人以为的,是祂的门徒盗走了祂的尸体,

22. Imagine the disciples themselves were willing to die for a hoax?
你想,难道门徒愿意为一个谎言骗局而死?

23. That they themselves perpetrated,
而这个骗局还是他们自己捏造出来的,

24. They were martyred for a lie of their own making?
他们竟然愿意为自己编造的谎言去作烈士?

25. That doesn’t even make sense.
这是说不通的。

26. But the truth is this,
事实就是,

27. Jesus literally, physically rose from the dead.
耶稣真的是肉身从死里复活了。

28. Secondly,
第二,

29. There were his appearances.
祂的显现。

30. During a period of nearly six weeks, Jesus showed himself to individuals.
在接下来的六个星期里,耶稣向许多人显现。

31. He showed himself to the twelve,
祂向十二门徒显现,

32. Once he showed himself without Thomas,
有一次多马不在,

33. And once with Thomas.
后来又显现一次,有多马在场。

34. And once on the seashore,

35. And one time it happened when there were 500 people in one place and they all saw him.
又一次显给五百多人看见。

36. How else can you explain the first church?
你又怎么解释第一个教会呢?

37. When Jesus died,
耶稣死时,

38. They were broken hearted,
他们伤心,

39. They were confused,
他们困惑,

40. They were frightened.
他们恐惧。

41. But within a matter of two months,
但仅仅只过了两个月,

42. They came out of hiding,
他们便不再躲藏,

43. They were joyful,
他们充满喜乐,

44. They were full of confidence,
他们充满信心,

45. And they were full of courage.
他们充满勇气。

46. Only the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the coming of the Holy Spirit can account for this dramatic transformation.
只有耶稣基督的复活,和圣灵的到来,才能带来这么彻底的奇妙改变。

47. The followers of Jesus Christ grew in number from a small disillusioned band of nobodies.
耶稣基督的信从者,就是从这一小群无名小卒,但十分清醒的信徒们逐渐成长起来的。

48. And today the Christians make up 1/3 of the worlds population,
而如今基督徒的比例占世界人口的三分之一,

49. All because of the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
这全是因着耶稣基督复活的大能,

50. Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
耶稣确实是复活和生命。

51. Well some of you may be asking this,
也许你们有些人会问,

52. So what if there was a resurrection?
真有复活又怎样?

53. How relevant is it that Jesus Christ who rose from the dead 2000 years ago is it to me?
一个在两千多年前复活的耶稣,和我有什么关系?

54. How can this remote event impact my life today?
这个遥远的事实对我的生命有何影响呢?

55. Why are you Christians making a song and dance about this resurrection?
你们基督徒为什么对这个复活载歌载舞呢?

56. Well my friend, I want you to listen very carefully,
亲爱的朋友,请仔细听我说,

57. Because I want to answer these questions.
因为我要来回答这些问题。

58. Your whole future depends on how you respond to the answers of these questions,
你的整个未来,就取决于你如何响应这些问题的答案,

59. And I beg you not to close your mind.
我请求你不要封闭你的心。

60. First,
第一,

61. Only because of the resurrection can you and I know that we are forgiven.
只有通过复活,你我才会知道自己已被赦免。

62. It doesn’t matter how morally upright you may be,
不管你的品德有多么高尚,

63. Deep down in your heart you know you need God’s forgiveness.
在你的内心深处,你知道你需要上帝的赦免。

64. We all need to know that we are forgiven,
我们都需要知道我们是否被赦免了,

65. That is one of the most basic needs there is.
这是我们最基本的需要之一。

66. In fact I want to tell you about a conversation I had one time with a friend of mine,
有一次我和我的一位朋友交谈,

67. He was the head of a large mental institution in Europe.
他是欧洲一间很有规模的精神病院的负责人。

68. He said that I would dismiss half of my patients tomorrow if they could be assured of forgiveness.
他说,如果能确定自己得到赦免的话,院中一半的病人就可以回家了。

69. Whatever skeleton there is in your closet,
在你内心里,不论有什么可怕丑陋的东西,

70. And we all have them.
其实我们人人心中都有。

71. Whatever dark secrets you are keeping in your memory,
无论你的记忆里有多少不能见天日的秘密,

72. Whatever painful memories you are storing up,
无论这些记忆有多么痛苦,

73. Whatever past there is that is nagging you and shaming you and condemning you,
无论你的过去如何令你感到耻辱羞愧,不断纠缠着你,

74. Whatever memory that is tormenting you,
无论这记忆怎样折磨着你,

75. The resurrection of Jesus Christ can forgive you tonight.
耶稣基督的复活都可以宽恕你。

76. If he remained dead,
如果祂没有复活,

77. If he did not physically and publicly rose from the dead,
如果祂没有从死里真正活过来,

78. He wouldn’t have been able to assure you of his forgiveness.
祂就不能向你保证祂的宽恕。

79. If he had not literally gotten out of the grave,
如果祂没有真正从坟墓里出来,

80. Then his death would have been a failure and mere tragedy.
那么祂的死亡只不过是一个纯粹的失败和悲剧。

81. Paul saw this very clearly when he said,
保罗对这一点看得很清楚,

82. In I Corinthians 15:14:
哥林多前书15章14节那里说:

83. If Christ has not been raised,
如果基督没有复活,

84. Our preaching is in vain,
我们所传的便是枉然,

85. So is your faith.
你们所信的也是枉然。

86. If there were no literal and physical resurrection,
如果没有身体的真实复活,

87. Then the apostles were false witnesses,
那么,使徒们就是在作假见证;

88. And all the Christian believers are unforgiven,
所有的基督徒也没有得到赦免;

89. And those Christians who died have perished.
已死的信徒也都灭亡了。

90. But because Jesus rose victoriously from the dead,
然而,因着耶稣基督荣耀的复活,

91. God assures us that by his death on the cross, your sins and mine can be forgiven.
神使我们确信,因着祂在十字架上的死,你我的罪都可以得到赦免。
