1. Hello listening friends,

4. Today we come to the fourth time in the Bible where Jesus says, I Am.
今天我们会来看看,耶稣在圣经中第四次对自己身份的宣称。

5. We have studied how Jesus said I am the bread of life,
我们已经看过耶稣是怎样说:我就是生命的粮,

6. I am the light of the world,
我是世界的光,

7. I am the door of the sheep fold.
我是羊的门。

8. And here in John chapter 10,
在约翰福音第10章,

9. Verses 11 to 18,
11节到18节,

10. Jesus said, I am the good shepherd.
耶稣说:我是好牧人。

11. Those original hearers of Jesus’ declaration,
当年听到耶稣亲口所说的人,

12. They understood fully not only the life of the shepherd, but also the life of the sheep.
他们完全了解牧羊人的生活,也了解羊的生命。

13. But they also understood the fact that God was Israel’s shepherd.
同时他们也知道,上帝乃是以色列人的牧者。

14. Yahweh was Israel’s shepherd,
耶和华是以色列的牧者;

15. He was their ruler,
祂是他们的统治者;

16. He was their protector,
是他们的保护者;

17. He was their leader with all of his caring and compassion.
是他们满有恩惠慈爱的引导者。

18. Thus when Jesus declared I am the good shepherd,
因此,当耶稣宣称自己是好牧人时,

19. He was saying, I am God incarnate.
祂是在说,我就是道成肉身的神。

20. I am the good shepherd who will give his life to his sheep.
我就是为羊舍命的好牧人。

21. I am the good shepherd who cares for your daily needs.
我就是照顾你日用所需的好牧人。

22. I am the good shepherd who feeds you and protects you.
我就是喂养你,保护你的好牧人。

23. I am the good shepherd who must ultimately deal with the bad wolf, Satan,
我就是最终会对付大灰狼撒但的好牧人,

24. In this passage of John 10:11,
在约翰福音10章11节中,

25. Jesus gives us three characteristics of the good shepherd.
耶稣为我们描绘了好牧人的三个特点。

26. First,

27. Verse 11,

28. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
好牧人为羊舍命。

29. Secondly,

30. Verses 12, 13, & 14,
在12,13,14节,

31. The good shepherd proves his ownership of the sheep by mutual recognition.
好牧人与羊群彼此认识,确认这些是属于他的羊。

32. Thirdly,

33. The good shepherd unites his sheep,
好牧人使羊群聚集合一,

34. Verse 16.
在第16节。

35. Let’s look at the first characteristic,
让我们先来看第一点,

36. The good shepherd lays his life for the sheep.
好牧人为羊舍命。

37. Jesus came from heaven so that he would die for the sheep,
耶稣从天而降就是要为羊舍命,

38. Because Jesus knew that this was the only way.
因为耶稣知道这是唯一的办法。

39. Not merely to lengthen our lives,
并不仅仅只是延长我们的寿命,

40. Not just to improve the quality of our lives,
也不只是要提高我们生命的质量,

41. Not just to give us a new chance on life,
也不只是要给我们的人生一个新的机会,

42. But to provide the means for the sheep to live forever.
乃是为羊提供一个可以永远活着的方法。

43. Jesus is different from any other,
耶稣不同于其它人,

44. Because he is the only door to the sheep fold,
因为祂是羊圈唯一的门,

45. Therefore he is the only good shepherd.
因此唯有祂是那独一的好牧人。

46. If you have your Bible with you, look at verse 12 of John chapter 10.
如果你有圣经,请翻到约翰福音,10章12节。

47. He said the hired hand is no shepherd at all,
耶稣说,雇工并不是牧人,

SECTION B
乙部

1. The moment he sees the big bad wolf he will run away.
一看到大灰狼他就逃跑了。

2. When he runs,
他逃走了,

3. The wolf will get some of the sheep,
有些羊被狼吞吃了,

4. But the rest will go out running for their lives.
剩下的羊会四处逃命。

5. But,
但是,

6. Jesus gives his life for the sheep without condition.
耶稣为羊舍命是毫无条件的。

7. In verse 11 Jesus said:
在11节中耶稣说:

8. The good shepherd lays his life down for the sheep.
好牧人为羊舍命。

9. How will he lay down his life?
祂怎样舍命呢?

10. He will confront the big bad wolf once and for all,
祂会正面地与大灰狼对峙,

11. The big bad wolf who comes to destroy and to harm and to harass and to kill had to be defeated.
这只来破坏,伤害,骚扰,杀害羊羔的大灰狼会被打败。

12. Jesus is saying that in order to overcome the big bad wolf,
耶稣是说,为了战胜大灰狼,

13. The good shepherd will lay down his life to stop him from killing the sheep.
好牧人会舍去自己的性命,为要阻止狼伤害羊群。

14. Jesus is saying that I will get down to the gutter where the wolf is,
耶稣是说,我会进入虎穴狼窝,

15. And I will hang on an instrument of torture called the cross.
我会被挂在“十字架”这种刑具上。

16. And when I am lifted up on the cross,
当我在十字架 上被举起来的时候,

17. I’m going to break his legs,
狼的腿就会被折断,

18. And I will hit his head,
牠的头会被打伤,

19. So he will have some brain damage,
牠的脑部会严重受伤,

20. And cannot harm my sheep anymore.
再也不能伤害我的羊了。

21. Jesus was saying that when I am through with the big bad wolf,
耶稣是在说,当祂打败了大灰狼,

22. This wolf is only going to howl and growl but he cannot bite the sheep.
这狼虽然会咆哮唬人,可牠再也不能吞吃羊群了。

23. Because I broke his jaw and his teeth came out.
因为我已打伤牠的下腭,打碎了牠的牙齿。

24. I will lay down my life and then take it again in victory of the resurrection.
我舍命,又要在复活的时候再取回来。

25. And by my victory my sheep will have victory.
因我的得胜,我的羊也要得胜。

26. By my triumph my sheep will experience triumph.
靠着我的胜利,我的羊也会胜利。

27. By my power my sheep will have power.
靠着我的能力,我的羊也会有能力。

28. The Father loves me,
我父爱我,

29. Because I lay down my life,
因我将命舍去,

30. So that I may take it again.
好再取回来。

31. Secondly,
第二,

32. The good shepherd has proof of ownership.
确认羊群是属于好牧人的。

33. Look at verses 12 to 14.
我们来看12到14节。

34. He knows his sheep,
祂认识祂的羊,

35. And his sheep know him.
祂的羊也认识祂。

36. In the time of Jesus,
在耶稣的时代,

37. The relationship between shepherd and sheep was a very special relationship.
牧人和羊之间有一种特殊的关系。

38. That relationship was so intimate,
这关系非常的亲密,

39. That most of us don’t understand it fully,
我们大多数人都不能够完全体会,

40. Especially those of us who live in the west.
特别是生活在西方的人。

41. Jesus said:
耶稣说:

42. That my sheep know my voice.
我的羊认得我的声音。

43. And that is literally true,
这是非常真实的,

44. This is not a figure of speech.
并不是一种修辞方式。

45. If a stranger came along,
如果有陌生人来,

46. The sheep would shrink back.
羊群就会退后。

47. They know their shepherds voice,
牠们认得牧羊人的声音,

48. And they follow him when he calls.
牠们会跟随牧羊人的呼喊。

49. During World War I,
在第一次世界大战中,

50. There were some Turkish soldiers who tried to steal a flock of sheep near the hills of Jerusalem.
在耶路撒冷附近的山区,有一些土耳其士兵想要偷一群羊。

51. The shepherd who had been sleeping was suddenly awakened,
正在熟睡的牧羊人突然惊醒过来,

52. And he saw his sheep being driven off to the other side of the ravine,
他看见羊群正被赶下山谷,

53. He knew he could not capture his flock by himself,
他知道自己不能追回这么多羊,

54. He could not stand against all these soldiers.
也打不过这么多士兵。

55. Standing on the one side of the ravine,
于是他站在山谷的另一面,

56. The shepherd put his hand on his mouth,
牧羊人把手放在嘴边,

57. And he gave his own peculiar call,
发出一声独特的呼喊,

58. Which he used each day to gather his sheep to him.
是他每天召聚羊群的声音。

59. And the moment the sheep heard that familiar sound,
当羊群一听到这熟悉的声音,

60. They stopped.
牠们就停了下来。

61. And on hearing it the second time,
当第二次听到那声音,

62. They turned around,
牠们就转过头来,

63. And they rushed one side of the ravine and up to the other toward the shepherd,
冲向山谷的另一边,回到牧羊人那里,

64. It was impossible for the soldiers to stop the sheep,
士兵完全无法阻止羊群,

65. The sheep know the shepherds voice.
因为羊认得牧羊人的声音。

66. Even the lazy sheep,
即便是一头懒惰的羊,

67. Even the stubborn sheep,
即便是一头倔强的羊,

68. Even the rebellious sheep,
即便是一头叛逆的羊,

69. They may foolishly try to ignore his voice,
牠们可能会故意不理牧羊人的声音,

70. They may ignorantly follow other voices that sound similar to his,
他们可能会笨到去跟随一个相似的声音,

SECTION C
丙部

1. But he has his way of getting his own back.
但牧羊人却有自己的方法叫他的羊回来。

2. Believers are Jesus’ flock,
信徒就是耶稣的羊群,

3. They will react the same way as the sheep did in this illustration,
他们会像我刚刚说的这个比喻一样,

4. They will hear Jesus’ voice and Jesus’ words,
他们听得见耶稣的声音和祂的话语,

5. And thus their spirit will connect with his holy spirit.
他们的心灵就会与耶稣的圣灵连接起来。

6. Going to church does not make a person a number in the flock of Jesus,
常去教堂不能使人成为耶稣的羊;

7. Going to Bible study does not make a person a number in the flock of Jesus,
参加查经班也不能使人成为耶稣的羊;

8. Doing good work is not necessarily an indication that a person belongs to Jesus,
做好事也不意味着你属于基督;

9. The only way to know whether you are one of his sheep or not,
唯一可以分辨你是不是祂的羊的办法,

10. Is how you respond to his voice,
就是你怎样响应祂的声音;

11. How you respond to his word.
就是你怎样回应祂的话语。

12. If God’s word is your guide and your boundary,
如果神的话语是你的指引和规范;

13. If God’s word is your food and your drink,
如果神的话语是你的粮食;

14. If it is your delight and not your fight,
如果神的话语是你的喜乐,而不是你的挣扎;

15. Then you know that you are a sheep of Jesus,
那么你就知道自己是耶稣的羊,

16. And Jesus is your shepherd.
而耶稣就是你的牧人。

17. There are a lot of people who go to church for a myriad of reasons,
有许多人怀着各样的目的来到教会,

18. They try to look like sheep.
他们尝试着让自己看起来像羊。

19. They dress like sheep,
他们的衣着像羊,

20. They sing like sheep,
他们的歌声像羊,

21. They act like sheep,
他们的举止像羊,

22. But they don’t live like a sheep.
但他们没有羊的生命。

23. Somehow they have convinced themselves that if they look like sheep,
然而,他们想要说服自己说,只要看起来像羊,

24. Dress like sheep,
穿得像羊,

25. Sing like sheep,
唱得像羊,

26. Act like sheep,
举止动作像羊,

27. That they are automatically sheep.
他们就会自动变成羊。

28. Jesus said no.
耶稣却说,不会。

29. Why?
为甚么?

30. Because he also said, my sheep recognize my voice.
因为祂也说,我的羊认得我的声音。

31. Do you recognize the voice of Jesus?
你认得耶稣的声音吗?

32. Are you able when you hear a voice that is not his voice to say:
你是不是能够听到一个声音后,便说:

33. Ah, ha this sounds like my masters voice but it is not my masters voice.
啊!这听起来像我主人的声音,但却不是祂的声音。

34. Jesus said that this relationship of mutual knowledge is reciprocal knowledge,
耶稣说这种关系是双向的,

35. Not only that they know my voice,
不仅他们认得我的声音,

36. Jesus said, I know them.
耶稣说,我也认得他们。

37. Oh how comforting this is to the flock of Jesus!
这对耶稣的羊群来说是多大的安慰啊!

38. Jesus knows you by name,
耶稣知道你的名字,

39. He knows you better than you know yourself,
祂比你还认识你自己,

40. He understands you better than you understand yourself,
祂比你还了解你自己,

41. He takes care of you better than you can take care of yourself.
祂比你还懂得照顾你自己。

42. Because this is not superficial knowledge,
因为这不是虚浮的认识,

43. This is an intense knowledge.
乃是完全而又深刻的认识。

44. Jesus likens it to the knowledge between him and the Father.
耶稣说,这种认识,就像祂自己与父神之间互相深刻了解是一样的。

45. Look at verse 15,
我们来看15节说,

46. As the Father knows me,
正如父认识我,

47. Even so I know the Father,
我也认识父一样;

48. And I lay my life for the sheep.
并且我为羊舍命。

49. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep,
好牧人为羊舍命;

50. The good shepherd has proof of ownership and he knows his sheep.
好牧人能证明祂拥有羊,而且认识祂的羊。

51. But thirdly,
第三,

52. The good shepherd unites his sheep.
好牧人召聚祂的羊。

53. Verse 16,
16节说,

54. Other sheep I have,
我另外有羊,

55. Which are not of this fold,
不是这圈里的;

56. They also I must bring,
我必须领他们来,

57. And they hear my voice,
他们也要听我的声音;

58. And they shall become one flock and one shepherd.
并且要合成一群,归一个牧人了。

59. Have you noticed something important here?
你注意到一件很重要的事了吗?

60. Jesus did not say one fold,
耶稣没有说只有一个羊圈,

61. The fold is an enclosure,
羊圈是一个范围,

62. The flock are those who are enclosed.
羊群就是凡在圈里的。

63. It is important to understand the distinction,
我们一定要明白这里的区别,

64. Jesus did not say one fold,
耶稣并没有说只有一个羊圈,

65. No,
没有,

66. Because there are many folds.
因为有许多的羊圈。

67. He said one flock.
但祂说,只有一个羊群。

68. In fact,
实际上,

69. It is not unusual for a wealthy shepherd to have many folds all next to each other,
一个富有的牧人有许多羊圈并不稀奇,

70. They are all his flock,
都是他的羊,

71. But they are in many folds.
但却在许多不同的羊圈中。

72. Trying to unite all churches under one fold is a false movement.
因此,把所有的教会都合并起来是错误的。

73. The unity is not organizational unity,
联合,并不是在组织上联合,

74. It is ownership unity.
乃是在主权上合一。

75. The unity is not created by the fold,
这种合一不是把羊圈合并而形成的,

76. But by the nature of the sheep and their relationship to the shepherd.
乃是因着羊群的属性,以及他们和牧人的关系才能形成合一。

77. You are not going to heaven on the basis of which fold you belong to,
你不是靠着属于某一个羊圈上天堂,

78. But whether you belong to Jesus’ flock or not.
乃是在乎,你是不是属于基督的羊群。

79. You will not get to heaven on the basis of whether you belong to a Baptist fold or a Presbyterian fold,
你不是因着属于浸信会的羊圈,或是长老会的羊圈而上天堂,

80. But because you are Jesus’ sheep.
乃是因着你是耶稣的羊。

81. You will make it to heaven on the basis of whether you are one of his flock or not.
你能上天堂是基于你是耶稣的羊这一点。

82. In the context of this passage,
在这一段经文中,

83. Obviously Jesus is talking about and including the Gentiles into his new covenant.
这里,耶稣很明显地表示,外邦人也包括在祂的新约之内。

84. The Gentiles were not of the fold of Israel,
外邦人本不属于以色列这个羊圈,

85. They are outside of Israel’s fold,
是以色列羊圈外的人,

86. But they will become as Paul tells us in Galatians,
但正如保罗在加拉太书中所说的,

87. The new Israel of God,
他们会变为神的新以色列人,

88. The flock of Jesus Christ, the only flock.
是耶稣基督的羊群,唯一的羊群。

89. The good shepherd laid his life for you,
好牧人为你舍命,

90. What have you done for him?
你为祂做了甚么?

91. Are you a productive sheep?
你是一只能繁殖的羊吗?

92. Or just fat, happy sheep?
还是仅仅一只肥胖开心的羊?

93. Are you seeking your master’s kingdom?
你是在寻求你主人的国度吗?

94. Or are you just enjoying grazing on his blessings,
还是只会贪婪地享受祂的恩惠,

95. And giving no thought or concern for him?
却不关心顾念祂的事?

96. He is the good shepherd,
祂是好牧人,

97. Can you say that I am a good sheep?
你能说自己是一只好羊吗?

98. It is my prayer that you can say that.
我期盼你说,是的。
