1. Hello listening friends, we’re delighted you join us again.

2. We’re continuing in our series of messages in title “How God Works”.
今天我们要继续讲“上帝的方法 ”这个系列的信息。

3. I hope you are prepared with your Bibles and ready to listen.
希望你能预备好你的圣经,聆听神的话语。

4. Often when people are angry with God,
有时当人们对上帝发怒,

5. they take it out on the Christian leaders.
常把怨气发在教会的领袖身上。

6. When a family member or a friend gets mad with God,
当家人或亲友对上帝生气,

7. they take it out on the godly person that is nearest to them.
就会发泄在身边最亲的虔诚信徒身上。

8. Why?
为什么?

9. Because like this woman, this type of anger is often accompanied with guilt.
就像这个妇人,其实她的怨气伴随着她的罪疚感。

10. Look at the later part of verse 18,
请看18节的下半段,

11. she said,
她说:

12. did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?
你竟到我这里来,使神想念我的罪,以致我的儿子死呢?

13. Death often brings guilt up to the surface.
死亡往往使罪孽浮现。

14. I have seen people grieve in funerals,
我见过在追悼会上悲痛的人,

15. they don’t only grieve over their loved ones,
他们不只是为失去亲爱的人而哀伤,

16. but also for their own sense of guilt and failure in the face of the inevitability of death.
也是面对无可避免的死亡时,自己的挫败和过失使他们伤痛不已。

17. I want you to understand the way God works.
我盼望你能明白神作事的方法。

18. This Baal worshipping woman did not know Jehweh as she should.
敬拜巴力的妇人,并没有真正认识耶和华神。

19. She thought Jehweh is the same as Baal,
她以为耶和华和巴力是一样的。

20. and because Baal was a vindictive god,
因为巴力是一位复仇之神,

21. and because Baal was the god of tit for tat,
因为巴力是一位以牙还牙的神,

22. so she thought that God was vindictive too.
所以妇人认为耶和华也是复仇之神。

23. However,
但是,

24. this woman’s son did not die because of her sin,
妇人的儿子并非因妇人的罪而死,

25. she was thinking like the disciples in John chapter 9,
她的想法正如约翰福音第9章里门徒的想法一样,

26. when they saw the blind man, they asked Jesus, whose sin, the man or his parents to cause him to be born blind?
当他们看见那位瞎眼的人,就问耶稣说:是谁犯了罪?是这人呢?是他父母呢?

27. Jesus said, neither he nor his parents but that God may be glorified.
耶稣说:也不是这人犯了罪,也不是他父母犯了罪,是要在他身上显出神的作为来。

28. We as people often draw a quick conclusion and pass rash judgments.
我们往往很轻易下结论,并随便扣帽子;

29. we make quick connections between sin and calamity.
我们随意将罪恶和灾祸扯上关系。

30. Instead we should watch and see how God works,
其实我们应该细心观察神的作为,

31. and take these difficult circumstances and use them for His glory.
在艰难的困境中,将一切荣耀归给神。

32. I want to get away very quickly from this woman’s guilt and anger to see how God’s man reacted to this calamity.
现在我们要从妇人的愤怒和罪疚感,转过来看以利亚这位神人如何面对灾祸。

33. What did the man of God do to cause God to perform the very first resurrection ever recorded in the Scripture?
神人以利亚作了些什么?以致于神行了圣经中记载的第一件死人复活的神迹。

34. There are several things I want to tell you.
我要告诉你好几个重点,

35. Take time to get a pen and write these things down.
请拿出纸和笔记下来。

36. Verse 19,
第19节,

37. Elijah did not defend himself,
以利亚没有为自己辩白,

38. that is the first thing.
这是第一点。

39. He did not try to give her a theological lesson,
他并没有给妇人上一堂神学课,

40. that’s the second thing.
这是第二点。

41. He did not condemn her false view of God,
他没有责备妇人对神错误的观点,

42. that’s the third thing.
这是第三点。

43. He did not defend himself,
他没有为自己辩白;

44. he did not try to give her a theological lesson.
他没有给妇人上一堂神学课;

45. He did not condemn her false view of God,
他没有责备妇人对神错误的观点;

46. instead,
相反的,

47. he said a few words,
他只说了几个字,

48. give me your son.
把你儿子交给我。

49. He had just been attacked and assaulted and reviled,
虽然他被攻击、侮辱和咒骂,

50. but he knew that this was her pain talking,
他很了解这是妇人痛苦时的气话,

51. he knew that this was hurt talking,
这是受伤者的发泄,

52. he knew that this was guilt talking.
这是罪疚感的托辞。

53. There are many times when you are in the pit of pain,
往往当你身陷痛苦的深渊,

54. that you lash out on those who are innocent.
你会向那无辜的人发泄怨气。

55. There’s something important here for us to learn from Elijah.
我们从以利亚身上学习重要的功课,

56. Elijah saved his questioning of God until he was alone with God.
以利亚等到他单独面对神时才提出疑问。

57. Look at verse 20,
请看第20节,

58. when Elijah carried the boy upstairs, he said to God,
当以利亚抱着孩子上楼后,他对神说:

59. oh, Lord God, why?
耶和华神哪,为什么?

60. Here is that why again.
这里再度出现“为什么"这句问话,

61. I don’t want you to miss this point.
请不要错过这个重点。

62. Elijah never said that downstairs where the unbeliever was struggling with that same situation.
在楼下时,非信徒已经有许多挣扎,因此以利亚保持缄默。

63. I want to tell you something very honestly.
坦白说,

64. Verse 20 is not a very good prayer.
20节并不是一篇好的祷告辞,

65. In fact, I can tell you categorically that it was a bad prayer.
事实上这是一个很糟糕的祈祷,

66. Even though it was Elijah, the man of God who prayed it.
即便这是以利亚这位属神的人的祷告。

67. Elijah was just as wrong as the widow was,
以利亚犯的错误和寡妇是一样的,

68. but he was perplexed.
但他的情况较复杂。

69. He was agitated.
他很激动,

70. He must have had some fondness for the boy,

71. but his prayer was wrong.
但他祷告错了。

72. It accused God of bringing tragedy by causing the widow’s son to die.
他控诉上帝使寡妇的儿子死亡,形成悲剧。

73. Listen carefully please.
请仔细听着,

74. God is an awesomely good God,
神是绝对善良的神,

75. because God is an awesomely merciful good God.
因为祂极其慈悲善良。

76. He allows us to say some very sorry prayers sometimes,
有时祂容许我们说出将来会后悔的祷告,

77. especially when we are confused and agitated.
尤其是当我们很困惑和激动的时候,

78. God is not going to get dizzy and fall off his throne because you prayed a bad prayer.
神不会因为你祷告冒犯祂而晕倒。

79. I can’t imagine God in heaven looking down and saying.
我无法想象神从天上望着我们说,

80. I am not going to take any more of this bad prayer.
我不再容忍你们这些糟糕透了的祷告。

81. No,
不会的,

82. God is an infinitely merciful God.
神有无尽的怜悯。

83. Then there’s the third thing I want to share with you today.
今天我要和你分享的第三件事,

84. Your intense and persistent praying according to the will of God makes a difference.
你持久的、迫切的、符合神心意祷告,就可以扭转乾坤。

85. Now I don’t mean that you may be able to perform resurrection,
我并非指你能行死人复活的奇迹,

86. but when you have nothing left except God,
当你除了神以外,一无所有时,

87. when you have stripped yourself of everything except God,
当你为神放弃一切时,

88. when you have taken hold of the horns of the alter and persist in prayer,
当你紧紧抓住祭坛的一角,迫切祷告时,

89. your prayer will make a difference.
你的祷告就能起死回生。

90. There is a fourth principle here I want to teach you.
还有第四个原则我要教导你的,

91. Elijah went to the place where he had met God on a daily basis.
以利亚来到他每天朝见神的地方,

92. Elijah went to the prophet’s chamber where he communed with God on a regular basis.
以利亚来到先知的内室,也就是他固定与神相交的房间。

93. He went upstairs,
他到楼上,

94. the place that had already been sanctified by the hours spent in prayer,
那里成为他长时间祷告的圣所,

95. and when calamity came, he took the calamity to that place.
当灾难临头,他把灾难带到那里。

96. Do you have a place where you meet God on a regular basis?
你是否有个固定朝见神的地方?

97. Do you have a place that is set aside so that when calamity strikes when your life’s blasting blows you away, you know where to go?
当灾祸突然来袭,使你无法招架时,你是否留下一个避难所?

98. Look at verse 21,
请看第21节,

99. and I want you to notice the intensity in which the man of God prayed.
请注意神人的祷告是多么迫切,

1. He stretched himself upon the boy three times.
他三次伏在孩子的身上求告神。

2. Why did he do that?
他为什么要这么做呢?

3. The Bible does not tell us.
圣经没有解释。

4. This is the first resurrection ever recorded in the word of God.
这是圣经第一次记载死人复活的事,

5. Elijah did not have a manual to go to and look up how to raise people from the dead.
以利亚手头并没有一本起死回生说明书教他该怎么做,

6. I think the old man was so broken hearted and weeping that he didn’t know anything else to do,
我猜想这时他已伤心过度六神无主了,

7. and he thought he would do whatever it takes,
他一心一意只想尽他所能,

8. as if he was trying to pass his own vitality upon the body in front of him.
把自己的生命力传送到他眼前那毫无生气的躯壳里。

9. This is a picture of the kind of prayer that does something with God.
这个画面表现出与神同工的祷告,

10. In this humble home of a Phoenician, Gentile, Baal worshipping woman,
在这个卑微的,腓尼基的外邦人,崇拜巴力假神的妇人家中,

11. God did the first recorded resurrection in the Word of God.
神行了圣经中第一次死人复活的神迹。

12. It was not in Jerusalem,
不是在耶路撒冷,

13. it was not in Galilee,
不是在加利利,

14. it was in Zaraphath.
而是在撒勒法。

15. I want you to look at God’s response,
请留心神的反应,

16. first see how restrained the word of God is,
首先,你看圣经简单扼要的记载,

17. the Lord heard Elijah's cry and the boy’s life returned to him and he lived.
耶和华应允以利亚的话,孩子的灵魂仍入他的身体,他就活了。

18. Now if movie-makers were making a movie of that moment,
如果这一幕被人拍成电影的话,

19. they probably would have included thousands of extras on the set,
一定会营造成热闹的大场面,

20. with angels singing and trumpets blowing.
天使高歌,号角齐鸣。

21. But that is not the way God’s word is presented to us,
然而神的话语并不是这样描述的,

22. there is no showmanship,
毫不炫耀,

23. there are no television cameras,
毫不张扬,

24. there are no fund-raising gimmicks,
毫无花招,

25. that boy did not write the best-selling novel about what is on the other side of death.
事后,孩子也没有出版畅销书描述濒死经历。

26. No.
没有,

27. These are all man’s ways.
那些都是人的方法。

28. God’s way is very simple.
神的方法很简单,

29. You don’t have to try to convince anyone when it is the word of God.
神的话不需要说服人,

30. You don’t have to explain it away.
不需要诸多解释,

31. This is the secret of the authority of the word of God.
这是神话语权柄的奥秘,

32. That is how you know that it is the word of God.
凭这点你就知道是神的话,

33. It is unexplainable.
不用解释,

34. It’s simply says, God did it.
直接了当地说,神做到了。

35. And what is the unbelievers response?
非信徒怎样反应呢?

36. God did it.
神做到了。

37. Listen to what the woman said,
请听妇人怎么说,

38. now I know that you are a man of God.
现在我知道你是神人。

39. Why?
为什么?

40. She saw the reality and the intensity and the integrity of faith under fire.
她亲眼看见,经过火炼的信心是多么真实、坚定和忠诚。

41. She testified to the word of God when she said,
她见证说:

42. I know that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.
耶和华藉你口所说的话是真的。

43. This woman was honored in Hebrews11:35.
希伯来书11章35节尊崇这个妇人,

44. She was listed in the saints’ hall of fame with all of the big names like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Sarah.
将她和亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、撒拉这些信心伟人并列。

45. Hebrews 11:35 says,
希伯来书11章35节说,

46. Women received back their dead raised to life again.
有妇人得自己的死人复活。

47. This widow whose name we do not know,
我们不知道她的名字,

48. made the role call of faith of all times.
但历世历代她都列在信心名人榜上,

49. She came to know the living God.
因她认识了永生神。

50. Is your name written in the faith hall of fame?
你的名字也在信心名人榜上吗?

51. You may think that nobody knows your name,
也许你认为自己是无名小卒,

52. but God does.
但神认识你,

53. He knows you by name,
祂知道你的名字,

54. and He’s inviting you to come to Him.
祂现在邀请你来归向祂,

55. I pray that you do so,
我恳求你这么作。
