3. and, we are about in the middle of a series of messages on how to know Christ and love Him;

4. and I want to begin by telling you of some phenomena that I have experienced around the world.
首先,我要提一提今天流行世界的一种通病。

5. Everywhere I travel in the world, I am finding that relationships are becoming shallow.
不管我到哪里,都发现同一种现象,那就是人际关系变得越来越肤浅。

6. Friendships are becoming superficial.
友情越来越表面化。

7. Family members value money and materialism above intimacy.
亲人之间,往往把金钱和物质,看得比亲情更重要。

8. Intimacy between friends and family members is becoming less and less intense.
亲朋好友之间的关系,变得越来越疏离。

9. Some of you may be asking, “What is intimacy,
也许你会问:“怎样才算是亲密呢?

10. and, why is it important in knowing and loving Christ?”
这和认识基督,爱基督有什么关系呢?”

11. Intimacy is connection with someone on a deep, emotional level.
亲密是人与人之间,在感情上深深地连结。

12. Intimacy is connection with someone on a deep, intellectual level.
亲密是人与人之间,在理性上紧紧地相通。

13. Intimacy is the connection of a spirit to spirit.
亲密就是在心灵上互相结合。

14. Intimacy is the connection of the heart to heart.
亲密就是心心相印。

15. Intimacy is the connection of a soul to a soul;
亲密就是心有灵犀;

16. but, more than that, intimacy is a process.
然而,不仅如此,亲密是一个过程。

17. Intimacy cannot develop overnight.
亲密的关系不能在一夜之间产生。

18. Intimacy requires the investment of time;
亲密感需要时间来酝酿;

19. so, why is intimacy becoming a rare commodity in our time?
那么,为什么亲密感在当今时代变得如此罕见呢?

20. I want to tell you why.
我来告诉你原因。

21. Because intimacy is based on mutual trust.
因为亲密感是建立在互相信任的基础上。

22. When trust is broken, intimacy is shattered.
当信任崩溃时,亲密的关系也自然破碎了。

23. When trust is betrayed, intimacy becomes difficult.
当信任被辜负以后,亲密的关系就很难再建立起来了。

24. Intimacy in marriage is only possible when the husband and wife trust each other;
在婚姻当中,只有当夫妻互相信任时,才有亲密可言。

25. and, when trust is present in their relationship,
当他们互相信任的时候,

26. the husband and wife will open their hearts to each other.
夫妻才可能敞开心扉,彼此交流。

27. Intimacy between two brothers- or two sisters-in-Christ
亲密感在主内弟兄姊妹之间也是如此,

28. is only possible when each of them know that they can open their hearts and minds and souls to each other without fear of rejection;
只有当他们觉得彼此能开诚布公、坦诚相待时,才会有亲密的关系。

29. but, when trust is betrayed,
可是,一旦信任被践踏,

30. intimacy becomes impossible.
就不可能有什么亲密感了。

31. Trust is the cornerstone to intimacy.
因此,信任是建立亲密关系的基石。

32. Someone once said,
有人曾说:

33. “A real friend is a person with whom you dare to be yourself...”
“在真正的朋友面前,你才不怕展现真我。”

34. so, intimacy is built on trust
因此,亲密的关系是建立在信任的基础之上。

35. and trust takes time to develop.
而信任需要时间来培养。

36. Trust takes time to be built.
信任需要时间来建立。

37. Trust involves real commitment.
信任需要真正的委身。

38. Wealthy people have difficulty distinguishing their real friends from those who befriend them in order to get something out of them.
有钱人往往很难辨认,谁是他真正的朋友,谁又是为了得利才和他交朋友的。

39. Many wealthy people feel that they can buy friends;
很多有钱人觉得他们可以用金钱买到朋友;

40. and, when these bought friends do not do what they want them to do, they reject them and throw them away;
当这些花钱买来的朋友对他们不再唯命是从,他们就立刻把这些所谓的朋友弃之不顾了;

41. but, my listening friend, I want to tell you, today, about the powerful and wealthy Friend that you can have for life.
可是我亲爱的朋友,今天我要给你介绍一位全能又富有,可以作你终生良伴的朋友。

42. He wants to befriend you without any conditions.
祂不需要任何条件就可以作你知心的朋友。

43. He knows all of your motives and still loves you.
祂知道你所有的心思意念,但依然爱你。

44. This person is Jesus Christ;
这位朋友就是耶稣基督;

45. but do you know how to be intimate with Him?
但你知道如何亲近祂吗?

46. When the Bible tells us to love the Lord with all your heart, do you know what that means?
圣经告诉我们要尽心爱主,你知道这意味着什么吗?

47. It means that He is the one Person with Whom you can be truly intimate.
意思就是说,祂就是你可以信得过的那位良朋密友。

48. Why?
为什么呢?

49. Because you can fully trust Him,
因为你可以完全信赖祂,

50. because He will never reject you,
因为祂永不丢弃你,

51. because He will never betray you,
因为祂绝不背叛你,

52. because He will always forgive you,
因为祂总是宽恕你,

53. because He will always accept you,
因为祂永远接纳你,

54. because He will always have your best interest at heart;
因为你永远都是祂的挚爱;

55. but, my listening friend, here’s the problem:
然而,我亲爱的朋友,问题是:

56. there are people who feel that they can never be themselves.
有些人总是不敢真诚地面对自己。

57. They say, “I can’t let people see the real me,
他们说:“我不能让别人看到真实的我,

58. because, if they really knew the real me, they would not want to be my friend…”
因为一旦他们真的知道我是个什么样的人,他们就再也不会做我的朋友了。”

59. and many people carry this fear into their spiritual life.
很多人在灵命上也同样提心吊胆。

60. The reason many people are not able to know Jesus and love Him with all their hearts
他们之所以不敢亲近耶稣,并尽心尽意地爱祂,

61. is because they erroneously think that, if God really knew them, He would reject them;
就是因为他们误以为,一旦让神知道他们真正的模样,神就不会爱他们了;

62. and they go through their life with this attitude.
他们就是抱着这种心态度过一生的。

63. In their mind, they believe that Jesus died for them.
在头脑中,他们相信耶稣为他们而死。

64. In their mind, they believe that God is merciful.
在意识上,他们相信神大有怜悯。

65. In their mind, they believe that God is good,
在脑海里,他们相信神是良善的,

66. especially when He answers their prayers.
特别是当神答应他们祷告的时候,他们都相信这是事实。

67. In their mind, they know a great deal about Jesus.
有关耶稣的知识,他们都知道。

68. In their mind, they have the ability to discern some truth about Jesus;
他们凭理性也能辨认有关耶稣的真理,

69. but they can have all of this kind of knowledge in their heads and still have no intimacy with God.
可是,这一切头脑上的知识,都不能使他们亲近神。

70. How is that possible?
这怎么可能呢?

71. It is because they do not know how much the Lord loves them.
因为,他们不明白神对他们的爱是何等长阔高深。

72. For those of you who are just tuning in,
如果你今天是第一次收听这个节目,

73. we are in the middle of the series of messages on knowing God.
我们播出的“认识基督”系列,已经进行到一半了。

74. In the last message, we saw how to love God with your imagination.
上一次,我们讲到了,要运用我们的想象力来爱主。

75. Today, we are looking into how to love Jesus intimately with all your heart.
今天,我们要谈到,要怎样竭尽全心来爱主,亲近主。

76. When the Bible refers to the heart, it is referring to the center of our personality.
圣经上谈到心的时候,其实就是指整个人的中心。

77. That includes the physical and the spiritual;
包括我们的身体和心灵;

78. and that is why we say, “Receive Jesus into your heart.”
这就是为什么我们说:“请主耶稣进入你内心。”

79. It means that He is to indwell in the very center of your life.
意思就是说:“让神成为你整个生命的中心。

80. How can you love someone with all your heart?
你怎样全心来爱一个人呢?

81. You cannot do it without spending time with that person.
假如你不愿花时间和他在一块儿,你就不可能全心爱他。

82. How can you love someone if all of your knowledge of them is second-hand?
如果你对他的了解只是从别人那里听来的,你又如何能真正爱这个人呢?

83. It is an impossibility.
当然不能。

84. You say, “I think of the Lord all the time
如果你说:“我整天都在思考主,

85. and, sometimes, I pray all day long.”
有时甚至全天都在祷告呢。”

86. This is wonderful,
这很好,

87. but it is not what builds an intimacy with Jesus;
但这并不代表你就和耶稣亲密无间;

88. so, what does build intimacy with the Lord?
那么,怎样才能建立和主亲密的关系呢?

89. Intimacy with Jesus includes giving Him the chance to speak to you.
与主亲密就是给祂说话的机会。

90. Intimacy with Jesus must include listening to Him.
与主亲密就必须聆听主的声音。

91. You cannot listen when you are not devoting specific time to listening.
如果你不刻意把时间拿出来给主,就听不见祂说话。

92. Some of you are saying, “Well, how do I listen?”
也许你会说:“那么,我该如何听呢?”

93. By reading His Word.
通过读神的话语。

94. Intimacy with God takes place when you delight yourself in your heavenly Father’s presence,
只有当你乐意安静在天父面前,你才能享受到亲密的甘甜。

95. and that requires spending specific time with Him.
而这种甜美的经历,需要你在神面前花时间才能享受得到。

96. The reason I get up early each morning is because, if I don’t spend that time in intimacy with God’s Word, my knowledge and love for the Lord will get weaker and weaker.
我每天清晨都安静在神面前思想祂的话语,因为我知道,如果不这样,我对主的爱就会越来越冷淡。

97. The more you spend time with Jesus in His Word, the more you get to know Him.
你越肯花时间在神的话语上,你就越认识神。

98. The more you get to know Him, the more you get to love Him;
你越认识神,你就会越爱祂;

99. and the more you love Him, the more you want to love Him;
你越爱主,你就想爱主更深;

100. and the more you want to love Him,
你爱主更深,

101. the more you want to love Him with your whole heart;
你就愿意尽心尽力地爱祂;

102. but, my listening friend, please listen to what I’m going to tell you.
可是,亲爱的朋友,请听我说。

103. What is even more wonderful is to sit in God’s presence and know that He loves you
更美的是,当你安静在神面前,明白祂是何等爱你的时候,

104. and He delights Himself in your presence,
神也喜悦和你同在,

105. that He longs for your fellowship,
祂渴望与你有交通,

106. that He pursues intimacy with you;
神盼望与你有亲密关系;

107. and that’s what the cross was all about.
这就是十字架的意义所在。

108. That is what His dying for you is all about.
这就是祂为你舍命的原故。

109. Martin Luther, the reformer, once said,
宗教改革家马丁路德曾说:

110. “The words ‘for us’ ought to be written on the hearts of every Christian.”
“‘为我们’”这三个字应该刻在每个基督徒的心版上”。

111. Why did he say this?
他为什么这样讲呢?

112. Because these words tell us of the Savior Who longs to befriend us.
因为这几个字恰恰说明我们的主是多么渴望作我们的朋友。

113. They tell us of a Savior Who longs for intimacy with us.
它告诉我们,我们的救主盼望更亲近我们。

114. The reason you can love Jesus with all your heart,
你之所以要尽心尽力爱耶稣,

115. the reason you can develop intimacy with Him -
你之所以要和耶稣发展亲密的关系,

116. it is because you can truly trust Him.
就是因为你可以完全信赖祂。

117. You can trust Him because of Who He is - God of very God Who came from Heaven in human body.
你能信赖祂,因为祂就是那位道成肉身、自有永有的全能真神。

118. You can trust Him because of what He has done for you.
你要信赖祂,因为祂已为你成就了大事。

119. Many scientists tell us that our children acquire many habits and traits from their parents.
科学家证实,孩子的许多特征和习惯都来自于他们的父母。

120. We often hear the phrase, “He is just like his father,”
我们也常听人家说:“有其父,必有其子。”

121. or, “She is just like her mother.”
或者:“有其母,必有其女。”

122. A boy often wants to be like his father;
男孩子通常都希望自己跟爸爸一样;

123. and the more the boy is acquainted with his father,
儿子和父亲相处得越久,

124. the more the boy talks with his father,
越多和父亲交谈,

125. the more like his father he becomes.
他就越发像他的爸爸。

126. The reason our testimony to the world is often ineffective
我们不能对世上的人作出美好的见证,原因就在于:

127. is because we claim to know the love of God,
我们宣称自己认识神的爱,

128. but we don’t live, walk or talk like our Father;
但我们的生活举止却一点也不像我们的天父;

129. and the world will not be impacted by our words.
我们口中所说的对这个世界完全起不了作用。

130. The world will only be impacted by our reflection of our heavenly Father.
只有从我们身上真正反射出天父的形像来,才能震撼人心。

131. When you come to God, you know that He welcomes you.
当你寻求神,你就知道神是多么欢迎你。

132. When you come to God, you know that He assures you of His love.
当你寻找祂,你就能体验到祂的爱是何等坚定。

133. When you come to God, you can be sure that He delights in your presence.
当你亲近神,你就会明白祂乐意与你同行。

134. When you come to God, you know that Jesus is with you.
当你贴近神,你就晓得耶稣正与你同在。

135. It is my prayer that you would begin to love God with all of your heart;
我将为你祷告,盼望你从今天起就全心全力爱主你的神;

136. and, then, write to us and tell us.
并盼望你来信和我们分享。
