3. We have been looking at the life of Moses

4. and I want to begin today talking about certain temptations that are common to all of us.
首先让我们来谈谈普遍最常见的试探。

5. We all know how easy it is to cheat and lie.
我们都知道,欺骗说谎是多么容易的事;

6. We all know how easy it is to rationalize not working hard.
我们也知道,很容易就可以为自己找到工作马虎的借口;

7. We all know how easy it is to say one thing in a person’s face and another thing behind his back.
我们知道,在人前说一套,在人背后说另一套,也是轻而易举的;

8. We all know how easy it is not to confront these wrongs.
我们都知道,不去对付这些错误也很容易。

9. By nature, we just don’t like to confront the wrong things.
按照天性,我们就是不喜欢面对自己的错误。

10. We say, “Nobody cares and why should I?”
我们说,别人都不在乎,我干嘛那么认真?

11. We simply don’t want to pay the price of challenging the wrong.
我们就是不愿意付代价,向错误挑战。

12. A famous general once said, “There are no victories at discount prices.”
一位著名的将军曾说过,没有廉价的胜利。

13. Confrontation is not popular, nor is it cheap.
面对错误是不受欢迎,亦非廉价的。

14. We often become too comfortable to stand up for the truth;
我们常常为了安逸,而不肯为真理挺身而出。

15. too rich to pay the price of confrontation;
我们太富有,反而不愿意为面对错误付出代价。

16. too unwilling to sacrifice anything except the truth.
除了真理之外,我们什么都不愿意牺牲。

17. Moses was a man who was reluctant to be the instrument of God’s confrontation with evil,
神要摩西成为祂对付邪恶势力的器皿,但摩西却不愿意。

18. yet, as he trusted the power of Jehovah,
然而当他信靠耶和华的能力,

19. God made a hero out of him.
于是神造就他成为英雄。

20. Moses came to know that there is no victory at a bargain price.
摩西开始明白,讨价还价不能带来胜利,

21. Only those who are not afraid to count the cost
唯有勇敢地计算代价,

22. will know the glorious victory.
才能获得荣耀的胜利。

23. Only those who are willing to pay the price
唯有那些愿意付代价的人,

24. will experience the power of God.
才能经历神的大能。

25. I am constantly amazed by men and women who stood tall for God and did not count the cost,
许多不计代价,愿意为神挺身而出的人,常常使我感到很惊讶;

26. and that is why they were used of God.
神因此而使用他们。

27. I have never heard of God using a lazy or self-indulgent person.
我从没听说过神使用那些懒散,或放纵自己的人。

28. My listening friends, listen carefully.
我亲爱的朋友,请注意。

29. You must be willing to pay the price.
你必须愿意付代价;

30. You must never say, “I will serve God when it is convenient,”
你绝不可以说,方便的时候,我会侍奉神的;

31. or, “I will serve God when circumstances are favorable,”
或者说,当情况有利时,我会侍奉神的;

32. or, “I will serve God if everyone will accept me.”
或者说,当人人都接纳我时,我会侍奉神的。

33. The sad thing is this-
可悲的是,

34. many Christians have become like plants in a greenhouse.
许多基督徒都成为温室里的植物。

35. We have to have the right temperature.
我们要求有适当的温度;

36. We have to have a certain amount of moisture.
我们要求适当的湿度;

37. We have to have the right environment,
我们要求适当的环境;

38. Otherwise, we think we can’t grow or serve God,
不然我们就不成长,也不能侍奉神。

39. but we are supposed to be soldiers of Jesus Christ,
但我们原本应该是耶稣基督的精兵,

40. and the soldier must be ready for anything.
无论任何环境,军人是随时应战的。

41. Moses, as a good soldier, stood his grounds and said, “Let my people go.”
摩西身为一个好军人,坚稳在立场上说,容我的百姓去。

42. You and I have no choice but to confront Satan.
你我必须面对撒但,别无选择。

43. We must tell him, “Let God’s people go.”
我们必须对他说,容神的百姓离开。

44. Does Satan have a hold on your son or daughter?
撒但是否掌控着你的儿女?

45. Insist that he let him or her go.
坚持叫他放他们走。

46. Does Satan have a hold on your father or mother?
撒但是否掌控着你的父母?

47. Insist that he let him go.
坚持叫他放他们走。

48. Does he have a hold over your sister or your brother?
撒但是否掌控着你的兄弟姐妹?

49. Insist that he let him go.
坚持叫他放他们走。

50. Does he have hold over a dear friend, or a spouse, or a neighbor, or co-worker?
撒但是否掌控着你的朋友、配偶、邻居或同事?

51. Don’t ever give up telling him to let them go.
决不要放弃,叫他放他们走。

52. Does he have a hold over you or a loved one in addiction of any form?
撒但是否利用各种不良嗜好,使你们上瘾来控制你,或你所爱的人?

53. Stand your ground and insist, “Let me go!”
站稳立场,坚定地对他说,放我走。

54. But let me give you a warning.
但让我提醒你,要提高警觉。

55. Many times, you will find what Moses found.
你经常会遇到摩西所处的景况:

56. That the more you insist on praying in faith for the release of the lost in your family,
当你越是凭信心,坚持为你失丧的家人得释放来祷告时,

57. the more Satan gets outraged.
撒但就越恼火。

58. Just like Pharaoh would not let people go
正如法老不肯让以色列民离去一样,

59. and made it intolerable for the people of God,
并且使神的百姓陷入无法忍受的困境中。

60. Satan will hold tenaciously and make it worse for them;
撒但会加紧他的魔掌,变本加厉地苦待他们。

61. but don’t be fooled into relenting and giving up.
千万不要因此上当而退缩放弃,

62. Don’t stop praying in faith.
千万不要停止你信心的祷告。

63. Satan will tell you that the more you pray, the worse things will get for that person if you keep on praying.
撒但会告诉你,如果你坚持祷告下去,你越祷告,你所关心的人就越倒楣。

64. He will tell you that you are the cause of worsening the situation;
撒但会告诉你,是你造成那人的处境每况愈下的。

65. but, my listening friends, deliverance is on its way.
然而亲爱的朋友,拯救已经近在眼前了。

66. Moses could have seen how harsh Pharaoh had gotten with Israel and given up out of compassion,
摩西可能因为同情在法老苛刻苦待之下的以色列人,而放弃他的坚持,

67. but they would have missed out on the ultimate freedom.
但他们就会失去彻底获得自由的机会。

68. So, my listening friend, keep holding on.
所以亲爱的朋友,坚持下去吧!

69. God is teaching everybody something through this process.
在这样的过程中,神正在锻炼我们每一个人。

70. Let me tell you something very important.
让我告诉你一件很重要的事,

71. If it was up to you or me, we couldn’t endure the battle;
若单单靠着你和我,我们不可能奋战到底。

72. but God is teaching us faith and perseverance.
但神却要教导我们信心和毅力的功课;

73. He is teaching the lost to appreciate the horror of sin.
祂要教导失丧的人认清罪恶的可怕;

74. He is accomplishing His purpose.
祂要完成祂的目标;

75. He is demonstrating His unquestionable power.
祂要彰显祂那毫无疑问的大能;

76. He is going to reveal the false gods for who they are.
祂要揭露那些假神的真面目;

77. He wants to show Pharaoh and his armies that they are worshipping false gods and practicing empty religion.
祂要显示真相,让法老和他的军队知道,他们所拜的是假神和空洞的信仰。

78. In my next message, we will see how each of the ten plagues were against each one of the ancient Egyptian false gods.
在下一次的信息里我们会谈到,十灾和古埃及所拜的十个假神相对应。

79. In God’s process, God is doing many things at once.
在神的作为中,祂同时成就好几件事。

80. God is encouraging Moses to trust in his God.
神鼓励摩西要信靠神;

81. God is rendering Satan worthless.
神宣告撒但毫无价值;

82. God is showing who is really King of the universe.
神显示出谁是宇宙万物真正的主宰。

83. The ten plagues that God sent in succession upon Pharaoh revealed Pharaoh’s unwillingness to give up.
神让十个灾祸一个接一个地临到法老,表示法老硬心不肯屈服。

84. It is the same with Satan.
撒但也是这样,

85. Satan desires above all else to be worshipped.
撒但最渴望人拜他。

86. His most audacious utterance to the Lord Jesus Christ was this:
他对耶稣基督所说的最厚颜无耻的话就是,

87. “All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me...”
你若俯伏拜我,我就把这一切赐给你。

88. but, on the cross, Jesus showed him Who is King.
但耶稣在十字架上让他看见,谁才是真正的王。

89. He pummeled him.
主耶稣连连出拳,

90. He pounded him
重重地打击魔鬼,

91. and He knocked his teeth out,
把他牙齿都打掉了。

92. and, soon, He is coming back to finish him off.
而且,主很快要回来把魔鬼彻底打败。

93. Because Satan wants to be worshipped,
因为撒但要人敬拜他,

94. everyone who does not worship Jesus Christ is worshipping Satan.
所以,若不敬拜耶稣基督的,就是敬拜撒但。

95. Everyone who does not worship Jesus Christ--
那些不敬拜耶稣基督的人,

96. they may tell you that they are worshipping nothing;
他们也许会对你说,他们什么都不拜,

97. but nothing is another name for Satan.
然而所谓不拜,就是拜撒但。

98. Everyone who is not worshipping Jesus Christ-
那些不敬拜耶稣基督的人,

99. they may be telling you that they are worshipping other gods;
他们也许会对你说,他们拜别的神,

100. but other gods are another name for Satan.
但别的神就是撒但。

101. Any other god, other than the God Who revealed Himself fully in Jesus Christ,
除了那位借着耶稣基督完全彰显自己的真神以外,其他的神,

102. is a false god and is a storehouse for Satan.
都是假神,都是撒但仓库里的傀儡。

103. God’s judgment was directed at ancient Egyptians’ polytheism.
神的审判针对古代埃及的多神崇拜;

104. It’s again paganism that God’s judgment is coming.
神的审判将要临到异教的信仰;

105. It is against a worshipping of the god of mammon that the judgment of God is coming.
神的审判将要临到对财神玛门的敬拜;

106. It is against the worshipping of indifference that the judgment of God is coming.
神的审判将要临到对神无动于衷的人;

107. It is against self-worship that the judgment of God is coming.
神的审判将要临到自我崇拜的人;

108. May God protect us from compromise!
求神保守我们不要妥协。

109. Pharaoh said,
法老说:

110. “Who is this god that I should obey his voice?”
耶和华是谁,使我听祂的话?

111. Poor Pharaoh! Very shortly, he found out Who God is, but it was too late.
可怜的法老,不久之后他就知道耶和华是谁了,但为时已晚。

112. He was pounded and beaten and ultimately soaked to death in the Red Sea.
他被重重地击打,最后葬身在红海里。

113. In the Egyptian museum today, where all the mummies are kept,
今天在埃及的博物馆里,保存着所有的木乃伊,

114. you will discover that one of the mummies of the Pharaohs is bleached white.
你会发现,其中一个法老的木乃伊是惨白色的,

115. All the others have normal skin.
其他木乃伊的皮肤都是正常的颜色。

116. The guide will tell you that the bleached Pharaoh is the one who was fished from the Red Sea.
导游会告诉你,这个白色的法老,是从红海里捞起来的。

117. Sometimes, God is too patient for my liking;
有时候我觉得神的忍耐太过份了,

118. but, then, I’m glad that He was patient with me.
但我很高兴祂对我有耐心。

119. For a hundred and twenty years, Noah called on people to repent;
当初挪亚呼吁百姓悔改有120年之久,

120. but, then, God shut the door of the ark and it was too late.
但当神关上方舟的门时,一切都太晚了。

121. Jesus wept over Jerusalem and said, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, if you only knew the hour of your visitation...”
耶稣曾为耶路撒冷哀哭说,耶路撒冷阿,耶路撒冷阿,巴不得你在这日子知道关系你平安的事。

122. and, a few years later, the blood ran down the streets of Jerusalem more than a knee high,
果然在短短几年之后,耶路撒冷的街道上血流成河,

123. but it was too late.
但一切都太晚了。

124. God is calling you before it is too late.
现在趁着还有机会,神在呼唤你,

125. Will you say, “Yes, Lord”?
你肯对主说,是的,主啊,我愿意。

126. Your eternal future is hanging in the balance.
你永恒的结局正悬在半空中呢!

127. Don’t be deceived by Satan’s excuses for you to postpone your decision.
千万不要上魔鬼的当,找借口推拖你的决定。

128. Don’t be deceived by Satan’s temptations.
不要上当,受撒但引诱,

129. Don’t be deceived in thinking that you will have time to come to God.
不要受骗,以为你还有充分的时间可以来到神面前。

130. Today can be your last day.
今天可能就是你的最后一天,

131. Do you know where you will spend eternity?
你知道自己的永恒将在哪里渡过吗?

132. If you committed your life to Jesus Christ,
如果你把生命交在耶稣基督手里,

133. He can guarantee you an eternal life in Heaven.
祂保证你可以得永生,进天堂。

134. Will you come to Him?
你愿意来到祂面前吗?

135. Say, “Lord Jesus,
对祂说,主耶稣,

136. forgive me of my sin.
赦免我的罪,

137. Thank You for paying for the wages of my sin on the cross.
感谢你在十字架上付清了我的罪债。

138. Please accept me.
恳求你接纳我,
